Broken side or rear glass is usually urgent: the vehicle is open to the weather and to anyone walking past. We replace door glass, vent and quarter glass, and rear windows, including heated back windows with defroster grids.
Tempered side and rear glass shatters into thousands of small pieces that end up in door cavities, seat rails and carpet. Part of the job is getting that debris out, not just fitting the new pane — otherwise you'll be finding glass for months and the window regulator will suffer for it.
